Born in September 1896, Justice Parakulangara Govinda Menon had his education at Kozhikode Ganapathi High School, Samoothiri College and Madras Law College.
He was appointed as Supreme Court Judge in 1957 after serving more than ten years as Justice in Madras High Court.
