തൃത്താല: സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ബി.ജെ.പിയുടെ വോട്ടിങ് ശതമാനത്തില് വര്ധനവ് ഉണ്ടായപ്പോള് തൃത്താലയില് കുറഞ്ഞു. യു.ഡി.എഫ് സ്ഥാനാര്ഥിക്ക് വോട്ട് മറിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് പരക്കെ പരാതി. ഇത് പാര്ട്ടിയില് ഭിന്നതക്ക് കാരണമായി. തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ തലേ ദിവസം ബി.ജെ.പിയുടെയും ആര്.എസ്.എസിന്റെയും പ്രാദേശിക നേതാക്കള് യു.ഡി.എഫ് സ്ഥാനാര്ഥിക്കൊപ്പം വീടുകള് കയറിയിറങ്ങിയത് പ്രശ്നം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്നു.
തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ദിവസം ബി.ജെ.പിക്ക് പലയിടത്തും താല്ക്കാലിക ബൂത്തുകള് പോലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. 2006ല് നടന്ന നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില് 8108 വോട്ട് നേടിയ ബി.ജെ.പി കഴിഞ്ഞ ലോക്സഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില് മണ്ഡലത്തില്നിന്ന് 10750 വോട്ടുകള് നേടിയിരുന്നു.
എന്നാല്, ഇത്തവണ ബി.ജെ.പി സ്ഥാനാര്ഥി വി. രാമന്കുട്ടി നേടിയത് 5899 വോട്ടാണ്. ഇത് യു.ഡി.എഫ് സ്ഥാനാര്ഥിയുടെ വിജയത്തിന് വഴിയൊരുക്കി.
